We believe in the "3-3-3" Rule: Dogs take about 3 days to start fully embracing their new surroundings, 3 weeks to learn your daily routine, and 3 months to fully show their real personality. Their natural and learned gifts unfold over time with you.

Family Companion
The greatest calling for many dogs: becoming someone's best friend.

The heart of the home — a dog whose whole job is everyday life: school mornings, movie nights, backyard games, and being the first one at the door. No certification, no titles — just full membership in a family.​

Therapy Dogs
Comforting others in hospitals, schools, and communities.
​
A therapy dog's gift is for everyone else — visiting hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and reading programs to bring comfort to strangers. Unlike ESAs, therapy dogs must be evaluated and registered through a recognized therapy dog organization before they can visit.​

Adventure Companion
For the families always headed somewhere.

Service Dogs
Serving individuals with seen and unseen physical and cognitive disabilities.
​
A service dog is individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability, with full public-access rights under the ADA. It's the most demanding pathway there is — typically 18 months to 2 years of task and public-access training, professional or owner-led.​

Elderly Companion
A steady, gentle presence through the golden years.​

A calm, devoted companion for seniors — a reason to walk each morning, a warm presence in a quiet house, and a friend whose whole schedule is your schedule. The Cardigan's steady, watchful nature is beautifully suited to it.​

Emotional Support
Providing comfort through life's challenges.
​
An Emotional Support Animal comforts one person — their own — through anxiety, depression, grief, or life's hard seasons. ESAs are recognized through a letter from a licensed mental-health professional; they don't require special task training and don't have public-access rights like service dogs.​

Sports & Activities
Celebrating natural talents.

Corgis are athletes in a compact package — agility, rally, herding trials, Barn Hunt, Fast CAT, scent work, and trick titles all showcase the speed, brains, and drive bred into them. Competing is joy, exercise, and bonding rolled into one.​

Purpose Pathways™ does not certify emotional support animals, therapy dogs, service dogs, or any other role. Instead, we provide trusted education, recommendations, organizations, trainers, books, scholarships, grants, and lifelong guidance to help families responsibly explore the unique gifts within their puppy. Because every puppy deserves every opportunity to fulfill the purpose they were created to fulfill.
